11月2日凌晨1點，甘肅康縣十余人在河道淘金，頭戴照明燈，雙腳泡在冷水中翻找，氣溫只有4℃。
據悉，此地附近有金礦，有關部門曾張貼告示禁止違法淘金，但仍有多人頂著低溫在河道淘金。
網友發視頻稱：有人一盆河沙就出了5克多的金。
