Although use of reward has long been a cornerstone of motivational strategies in educational institutions worldwide, no consensus has been reached over how to distribute these rewards properly. Some people advocate for rewarding solely the top-performing students, whereas others contend that rewarding students who demonstrate progress carries more significance.

Needless to say, this recognition makes indispensable contributions to anxiety reduction by encouraging students to attempt more challenging problems or participating in class without the worry of being wrong.
