山東省樂陵市是“中國金絲小棗之鄉”。近年來，樂陵市通過建設國家棗樹良種基地和精品示范園，培育金絲小棗新品種，創新小棗矮化密植和零污染、零農殘管理模式，改良小棗品質，調整小棗成熟時間，讓小棗實現了“三季有葉，四季有果”的錯季產出，為當地農民開辟新的增收途徑。
