當地時間11月3日，美國財政部長斯科特·貝森特表示將出席本周最高法院關于美國總統特朗普關稅政策合法性的聽證會，稱此事“涉及國家安全”。
他表示，希望能坐在前排旁聽，并強調這是“一場經濟緊急事件”。當地時間11月5日，美國最高法院將就特朗普政府實施的所謂“對等關稅”政策舉行聽證會。此前特朗普已表示，不會親自前往最高法院。
