The architectural focal point of the hotel is the pavilion containing the living room, dining room, library and gallery, as well as the spectacular swimming pool surrounded by natural rock cliffs. As a geological abstraction, the building blocks with a sense of timelessness are easily integrated into the changing landscape of sand and rock formations through color. The suite is accessed through a rock arch, reminiscent of the area's spectacular narrow canyons or enclosed private courtyards. Starting from the courtyard, the suite space unfolds in sequence. Guests are presented with a stunning framed view of the desert. In the center of each suite is a raised stone island that houses a bed, a table and a sofa. Outside, a private desert lounge offers additional benches around a private fire pit, a semi-outdoor space meant to capture the feeling of camping under the stars. Separate bathing and dressing areas are carved out of dense rock formations that separate the individual rooms. The effect is mysterious, with green stones and filtered light, water elements contrasting with living and sleeping areas with bright light and stunning views. The architecture reflects the timeless nature of the surrounding rock: pavilions are scattered and abstract like tumbling rocks, paired with solid or liquid, heavy or light landscapes depending on the project and location. The wet treated areas are defined by organic forms and mysterious natural light, while the dry treated areas are defined by wood lining and tranquil light.
